(Photos)NFL: Peyton Manning Was Almost Traded To The Houston Texans

Apparently the Broncos were ready to hand the reigns to their backup quarter, Brock Osweiler, who doesn’t have much playing time under his belt considering he’s been a backup his whole career.

Considering the fact that the Bronco’s roster is obviously in “win-now” mode, it would be irresponsible to give up a future hall-of-famer and allow your team to be run by a relative unknown.

It is interesting to think exactly what the Broncos would have received in return for Manning but we will probably never find out and both teams would most likely deny any of these rumors publicly.

If the Broncos did trade Manning,it would have changed the powerhouse teams in the NFL and most definitely made the Texans a favorite to win the Super Bowl with Manning on offense and defensive player of the year, J.J. Watt leading your defense.

These Madden trades have been a huge topic of the offseason and as a fan has ben fun to watch.
