LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – It was a somber day in Louisville for families and friends whose loved ones have been killed in senseless violent crimes.

A Reflection of Light ceremony was held Sunday afternoon for Andrea Arnold and other area victims.

Arnold was found shot to death in an alley earlier this month in the Algonquin neighborhood. The mother leaves behind three children.

Rapper Master P, who’s known for his local connection to Louisville, donated money to Arnold’s family to help cover funeral expenses.

The family of Arnold says they’re looking for closure and justice.

Master P will also hold a special concert Sunday night at the Gillespie in Arnold and the other victims’ memory.

No arrests have been made in Arnold’s case.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – When you’ve lost a loved one, the holidays can be a hard time of year.

A candle light vigil was held Sunday at the Gillespie in honor of Andrea Arnold, a 26-year-old mother of three who was shot to death in an alley just weeks ago. Master P and Christopher 2X attended the Reflection of Light ceremony, which also remembered other victims of senseless crimes.

“There’s no words that can explain this one, this is really hard for us to deal with,” said Troyia Arnold, the victim’s sister. “We are trying to be strong, but it’s hard.”
